Dr. med. Mohamed Said
Mohamed Said, MD, pediatrician since 1976, qualified as pediatric surgeon in 1982, professional practice as pediatric consultant at Rostock and Freiburg university hospitals; practiced at a number of pediatric and GP surgeries in North Germany; further professional qualifications in tropical medicine, neuro-pediatrics (incl. electro-encephalography). Consultant in pediatric surgery; further professional qualifications in allergology and pneumonology; frequent professional activities in English-speaking countries. Took over the surgery in July, 1990.
On 11 July 2020, the Norddeutsche Rundfunk was a guest of Dr. Said in his practice. The Hamburger Abendblatt had previously also reported on Dr. Said on November 19, 2016. The WELT had also interviewed him on November 3, 2013.
Dr. med. Julia Troester
After having successfully finished her medicine degree in Budapest and Heidelberg, Dr. Troester started her pediatric surgical education focussing on children’s plastic-reconstructive and burn surgery at the Kinderspital Zürich, Switzerland. For her further education she changed to the Katholische Kinderkrankenhaus Wilhelmstift in Hamburg in the year 2013, where she completed her specialist examination in 2017.
In 2018 she started her pediatric specialist training at the children’s department of the UKE. She gained a broad pediatric training both for liver and kidney diseases in children and acute emergencies in emergency rooms and neonatology. Additionally, Dr. Troester worked at the Children’s Competence Centre at the Institute for Forensic Medicine at the UKE, specialising in child protection.
During an additional training she successfully gained the certificate to carry out gynecological consultation hours for children and young adults in February 2021. Dr. Troester is married and has one daughter. She is looking forward to supporting Dr. Said in his practice from July 2021 onwards.
Our Paramedical and Nursing Staff
Ms Holm trained as Medical Assistant at a large surgery specialising in internal medicine August 2008 to January 2011. Since February of that year she has held a full-time leading position at this surgery.
